During the fall and winter seasons, waterproofing all your shoes is a top priority. Road salt, slush, gravel, rain and snow take a toll on all shoes, and waterproofing is your shoes' strongest defender.
- Protection against moisture and dirt: The waterproofing spray creates an invisible protective barrier that prevents water and dirt from penetrating the material. Instead, the rain och slush that drips onto the surface settles and can be easily shaken off - your feet stay dry, your shoes stay clean.
- Shoe live longer: By keeping moisture and salt away, you prevent your shoes from cracking or losing their shape. Well cared for shoes will last many more seasons than untreated footwear.
- The shoes will look good for longer: Stains from road salt, mud and oil often set deep into the material if the shoes are not waterproofed. With the right waterproofer, they keep their original color and shine significantly longer and thus also their original appearance longer.

Apply shoe polish from time to time to increase shine, prevent cracks and provide another protective layer.
Have your shoes after all gotten soaked? Remove any insoles and stuff your shoes with newspaper. Another effective way is to have a set of Shoe Fresheners in your hallway and at work. They are simple little sachets that dry out your shoes quickly and also counteract bad odors.

Shoetrees are another inexpensive professional product for those of you who love shoes. When you have a break from your flats, clean them and let the shoehorn live in them. When you put your boots away for the winter, follow the same procedure. We have shoetrees in sizes 36-47 in fine cedar wood.
Remember that you don't need to have any fancy polishing cloth in your shoe care drawer. Find an odd sock that can't find its partner after washing, or a towel that has seen its best days. Perfect for both cleaning and polishing!
