Green Laces has been a proud retailer of the French shoe brand Virón ever since their first collection launched in 2020. The brand’s manifest “For the planet, for the animals, for the people” enhances Virón’s commintment to act resposibly in all parts of the production chain. For the planet means that the brand uses as little virgin material as possible and instead uses recycled components in order to minimise the emissions. For the animals means that no animals or animal derived matierals are used to make the shoes. For the people stands for European production sites, transparent and socially sustainable production. Green Laces share Virón’s values and we are also big fans of the brand’s aesthetics. Obviously we are super stoked to see the new collection!
In the Green Laces selection for autumn/winter 2023 you will find three new styles and additional sizes of our carry-overs 1992, Paradigm and 1997.
All outer soles are made of recycled rubber (70%). The upper of the Venture boot is made of recycled polyester (70%) and organic cotton. The 9-eye boot 1992 is made of apple leather where leftovers from the fruit industry are mixed with synthetic fibers to create a vegan leather that is breathable, flexible and long lasting.
Virón expands the concept of organic shoes by letting recycled nylon and rubber be highlighted in expressive soles and playful details. Green Laces’ assortment is for everybody and we aim to keep a stock of sizes 36-46 in all styles – in Virón shoes often up to size 47. All styles are available in our brick-and-mortar shop at Hökens gata 7 in Stockholm and also in our webshop for quick delivery.
